Here are a few upcoming event reminders!

2nd installment payment ($150) due this Thursday, Jan 2, 2020 at practice. Kimmie will have total amounts due for each play at tomorrow’s practice (Dec 31, 2019 from 4:30pm-6:30pm).

Be sure that each girl has a pair of BLACK volleyball spandex for their first tournament. They can be any brand. We will hand our jerseys to each player within the upcoming week.

We will be having a fundraising tournament on February 29th. There has been a Facebook event created through our club’s Facebook, Twin County Volleyball Club. We will have a rec division (for those with minimum volleyball skills) and an open division (for those with advanced volleyball skills). If a girl gets a team together (of people that are not already players in our club) then the entry fees from that team goes directly towards that girls club fees. If you have any questions, please ask your coaches.

We will be having a silent auction and concessions for the day of the tournament. There is a donation letter in the document section of our teampage to ask for silent auction items. We will need parent volunteers to help with concessions at all 3 playing sites during the tournament (Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church, CCHS, and Hillsville Elementary School).

Our first club practice will be Tuesday, December 3rd from 7-9pm at the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church (Virginia Street, Hillsville VA). All teams will practice there. Be sure to bring the following forms on Tuesday: Player Information Sheet, 2020 Player Medical Release, CR Letter of Commitment, & Parent Code of Conduct. (all of these forms are under the document section of the teampage). For all new club players within our club, we will also need a copy of the player’s birth certificate. We will have a notary at practice on Tuesday night to notarize the medical release forms. Be sure to bring your first installment of your club dues ($150) on Tuesday night as well. See you all then!

We are going to go ahead and begin working on T-Shirt Sponsors for this season. All of the information is on the Form. 1 shirt will be either the lons sleeve or short sleeve shirt. 2 shirts will get their company info on both shirts. On the sheet, make sure that you mark your child’s name so they receive credit.

First of all, you need to login to your “Webpoint” account. Once logged in go to the left side of the page and find “Regional Clinics” under USA Volleyball Events and click on it. A dropdown box will come down. Find “Region Ref/Score Clinic” and click on it. Once the page has loaded scroll down to December 14, 2019. Find the clinic listed as “Alleghany VBC Officials Clinic” On the right side of this clinic listing you will see “+ Participant Registration”. Click on it and follow the instructions. Once registered you can then Log out. The Clinic will last from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm. Doug Fagan will be the instructor.

It’s a new season, Twin County Volleyball is a part of Alleghany Volleyball Club. We will continue to play in the Western Division of the Carolina Region. All of the one day tournaments we play in will be from Greensboro to the western part of North Carolina. The Rampage website is www.tcvbc.teampages.com. The document section has a folder with all needed forms. Please be sure to join to make sure you can receive needed communications.

We are now ready to start officially accepting members for this season. In order to join Alleghany Volleyball Club you will start by following the appropriate instructions in the “Document Section” of the Twin County Volleyball website.

You will need a copy of your birth certificate (New Players), fill out all these forms, and bring them to the first practice. We must have them prior to the first practice.

Now that you are have joined TCVC you can begin to improve you volleyball skills, make new friends, and have a great year completing in tournaments. I’ll let you know final information including times and locations of practices. At the first practice you will need to pay your first set of dues in order to practice. 2018-19 dues are $450.00, divided into 3 monthly payments of $150.00 beginning in November. Unless other arrangements are made. Parents with more than one child playing, see Coach Edwards for payment arrangements. Everything you will need to compete this season, except USA Volleyball fees, which you paid when you went through WEBPOINT, and your personal travel costs, are included in your fees. There are no additional costs. Checks should be made out to:
